BCS SG4 - Laser Barcode Wand |

The Laser Barcode Wand (SG4B) uses a miniaturized high performance 650nm laser that is based on a single line decoding scan engine from Symbol Technologies to read the majority of common barcode formats. The SG4B uses a microprocessor (found in all BCS SG units) to interface with the laser engine and all the BCS Guard Patrol Transfer Stations. The SG4 laser barcode wand can be used with any of the BCS Guard Patrol software. Currently the wand is restricted to reading a maximum of 12 characters in order to comply with BCS Guard Patrol Systems. To operate the SG4 unit, simply press the pushbutton switch in order to read the desired barcode.
