PCS Software Description
The PCS software application utilizes up-to-date Windows Telephony technology and runs on a dedicated PCS Server containing the PCS telephone line hardware. The PCS telephone line hardware has the capacity to handle up to 4 incoming telephone lines (expandable to handle up to 12).
PCS Software Components
The Phone Check-in System consists of the following 3 software components: PCS Setup, PCS Monitor, and PCS Reports.
PCS Setup
The PCS setup software will be accessible via the network and restricted to designated users. The setup of Sites, Posts, and Employee Identification Number information will be accessible via a Tab on the relevant screens in SMS.
PCS Monitor
PCS Monitor will be accessible via the network and restricted to designated users. Site, Post, and Employee Check-In Status monitoring will be accessible via a Tab on the relevant Dispatch Monitor screens of SMS. In the event of a discrepancy in the check-in schedule, an alarm will be generated on the dispatch monitor screen. The Alarm Condition is limited to the following discrepancy: not calling within the allowed check-in/out time window. Other discrepancies in the check-in schedule will be passive, and available for review via the PCS reporting module.
PCS Reports
PCS Reports will be available as a menu item within the SMS program.
PCS Hardware
Brooklyn Computer Systems, Inc. recommend a 4-line PCS Line Card to be installed in the designated PCS Server. |
